After a Dropbox desktop app update, selected folders on PC don't appear on my tablet Dropbox

I want to share a few folders on my PC with my tablet. So i can acces the latest versions when i am not at home.

This was working perfectly. I could click on a folder and select something. A little green v would be in the corner of the folder.

And I could open the folder on my tablet dropbox app. (If i added something to te folder on my pc, it would be on the tabletapp also).

On 11/4 the pc wanted to do a dropbox update, since i don't have my folders in the tabletapp anymore. Te green v is also not on the pc folders.

If i rightclick on the folder i have only 2 dropbox options: send a copie, or move to dropbox.

If i move to dropbox, the folder is gone from it's original location and is now in a new folder called 'dropbox' on my desktop.

It has the green v AND i can see it on my tablet! BUT that way my folders are no longer in their original place.

I have al lot of folders and i want it to be organised.

  • Hello,

    I have the same problem.

On 11/4 early in the morning there was a request for update on the PC.

    My husband clict on it...

Since then i can no longer see my synct folders on my tablet dropbox app.

    I tried everything, uninstalling...

Is it no longer possible that my (recipe) folder on my PC is always the same as on my tablet?

I can add the folder back to dropbox, but if i ad a recipe that does not ad on my tablet

i am sorry for bad english...

Hey Delphine Houfflyn, thanks for reaching out to our Community.

If I understand correctly, you're referring to accessing your backed up folders from the Dropbox app on your tablet.

It's true that if the backup feature was updated on your PC, your backups will no longer be accessible from the mobile app.

However, you can still access them from the Dropbox website.

Also, we do have an idea open about this, so feel free to up-vote it, to show your support!

Let me know if you have any questions.
