My activities show someone else's activities
Hi!
Our company uses Dropbox Business, and lately we've noticed some strange confusion under "Activity".
My activities show that I have moved certain files when in fact I haven't. The file's version history shows that a colleague would have moved that file, but this colleague denies doing it.
Other colleagues are seeing similar unrecognized activities under their own activities.
Any ideas about what might be happening and suggestions on how to solve this?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for posting this on the Community, MRAQ!
Do you mind sharing a few screenshots of what you see exactly under “Activity” vs what shows under the file’s version history? If you check your Events page too, what does it report? If there’s any personal info, please make sure to mask it first.
Finally, can you clarify what type of Business plan you’re currently on?
Keep me updated.

Hi Nancy,
Thank you for the response. We use Dropbox Advanced.
Please see below screenshots of my activity and the version history.
None of the listed activities from 2 days ago were done by me.
In version history for the last file of the above screenshot, it says my colleague LK moved the file 2 days ago. It also says I (HC) would have edited the file on my Desktop in October 2023, but I have never seen that file before.

PS. The events page says LK was moving several files at the same time as the above files were moved.
